Zohar Steg
On a personal note, I’m thrilled to present to you a revolutionary treatment method I’ve developed, that, in my opinion, is going to change the way in which we, the acupuncturists, treat muscle and joint pain in the following years.

About Me
My name is Zohar Steg.
I was born in Israel and currently live in the Netherlands, happily married and a proud father of three wonderful daughters.
In 1998, after completing my studies in Chinese medicine in Israel, I embarked on a professional journey driven by a deep passion for healing and pain relief. Over the years, I expanded my expertise through advanced training and courses, exploring innovative acupuncture methods that I now apply in my clinic.
In addition, I had the privilege of teaching new generations of Chinese medicine practitioners at the Open University of Israel and other professional institutions.
In 2019, I was introduced to the FSN (Fu’s Subcutaneous Needling) technique, developed by Dr. Zhonghua Fu. This method, which stimulates the hypodermis, reshaped my understanding of acupuncture, particularly in the field of orthopedic pain treatment.
With a constant drive for professional growth, I integrated FSN into my clinic and witnessed remarkable results—patients experienced significant pain relief and improved mobility. However, I also noticed that some patients expressed concerns regarding the relatively thick needle and the sensations that could occur after treatment.
This realization inspired me to explore a more approachable and comfortable treatment experience without compromising effectiveness. Through research and refinement, I developed the IPRA123 method, which retains the core principles while incorporating unique adjustments. I now use a more patient-friendly needle, offering a treatment experience that feels closer to traditional acupuncture. Additionally, I integrated kinesio tape as a complementary therapy to enhance and prolong the treatment's benefits between sessions.
Today, many patients experience IPRA123 as a safe and highly effective method, delivering rapid pain relief and improved mobility. The approach has proven to be an outstanding solution for both acute and chronic orthopedic pain.
That said, while IPRA123 excels in orthopedic pain management, I want to emphasize that for systemic conditions affecting the whole body, traditional Chinese acupuncture remains a powerful and highly effective therapeutic tool.
Best regards,
Zohar
